CK Asset Issues Further Clarification: Li Ka-shing Is in Good Health
CK Asset Holdings Limited issued another clarification on October 21, 2026, addressing online rumors concerning Li Ka-shing. The company stated that Li is in good health and condemned social media accounts and online publishers for using historical or fabricated images to create misleading stories and spread false information.
According to CK Asset, several mainland Chinese social media accounts recently circulated claims that Li’s sons, Victor Li Tzar-kuoi and Richard Li Tzar-kai, had visited Tsz Shan Monastery in Hong Kong to offer prayers, while Li Ka-shing had not attended. The posts prompted speculation about the business magnate’s health. The company said the claims were inaccurate and that some images used in the posts did not actually show the two sons. Other images were taken in 2019 but were presented as if they showed a recent event.
CK Asset explained that on March 27, 2019, Li Ka-shing attended the inauguration ceremony of Tsz Shan Monastery and the opening of its museum alongside his two sons. Reusing photographs from that event and presenting them as recent footage, the company said, could mislead the public and create a false impression of current events.
Addressing continued public interest in Li’s condition, CK Asset explicitly stated that he is in good health. The company also said that it had issued an official statement on October 15 and had not provided any additional responses to the latest rumors. Any purported supplementary comments attributed to company representatives online should not be regarded as the group’s official position.

CK Asset called on those responsible for fabricating stories and spreading false information to remove the content immediately. It said it reserved the right to pursue legal action. The company also urged media organizations and members of the public to verify information carefully rather than create or circulate unsubstantiated claims for online attention.
Li Ka-shing retired from his formal leadership role in 2018 and has since made fewer public appearances. His relatively low public profile has continued to attract attention, but the latest incident highlights how old photographs and misleading descriptions can fuel speculation when shared without proper context.
Observers note that information concerning public figures’ health should be based on official statements and credible reporting. Unverified social media posts should be treated with caution, particularly when their claims rely on images that may have been taken years earlier.
The company’s latest clarification seeks to address concerns about Li’s health while rejecting the use of fabricated images and invented narratives to spread rumors. The episode also underscores the importance of checking sources and distinguishing historical material from recent events in an online environment where information can spread rapidly.
